Education cuts prompt revolt, despair in Oklahoma

General question to teachers in Oklahoma: If you just graduated as a first time teacher, and knowing you would make much more in surrounding states; would you make the decision to actually work as a teacher in a place that makes teachers and education the enemy? If so, do you enjoy misery?
