Wanna see me in a show? Mark Feb. 20th and 21st on your calendar with TexasStar DinnerTheater in the land of winos; Grapevine, Texas! I tend to perform in a lot of private shows these days but here are two public show dates to see me, eat some delicious food; maybe partake a few drinks, yes? I get to do some very, very sassy acting in this show as a morose Undertaker with a heart of gold. I performed last night and I killed the audience with my comedy bullets. But...did I murder...!?

Dear diary, This time last year I was auditioning to be a cowboy for a theme park. Today I've got a callback for some professional Shakespeare magic, then I perform in a professional comedy show tonight. It's a good life! by Derick Snow January 24, 2015 at 09:51AM from Facebook via IFTTT from Facebook
State Rep. Sally Kern files three bills targeting gays
You've got to be KIDDING ME, Sally Kern. There is ignorance, and there is wanton bigotry. These three bills fall into the latter. I doubt (hopefully) they will pass, but this is the kind of flagrant showboating that lose Oklahoma millions of dollars from losing civil rights lawsuits, again and again. For someone who claims to represent and defend the constitution, I get the feeling that some lawmakers...forgot (or never learned) to read the Declaration of Independence, and their Constitutional book on tape seems to have missed certain amendments on checks and balances. Read all of the proposed laws and try not to shake your head. Here's a morsel. One law allows businesses to refuse service “to any lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender person, group or association,” and be immune from civil liability. "The measure directs state courts to dismiss any challenge to the measure and award costs and attorney fees to the defendant. A judge who violates the act shall be removed fro

I've been dealing with a wee bit of shivery coughing dizzy illness this weekend. Sam got me chicken noodle soup and extra love and we watched loads of Star Trek while I was laid up. I can't wait to be able to play and run again. Blerg. by Derick Snow January 11, 2015 at 12:28PM from Facebook via IFTTT from Facebook
Mahwwiage
It's been quite an amazing time for mister Derick. October was quite a fancy month. Big and little changes have never been so prolific as they have been recently. I acted, I vocalized, I adventured, I created; which is just about normal. I also got married, which is something that hardly ever happens to me. Let's talk about that, shall we?! It's true! I have tied my little heartstrings to Samantha Snow, and it's a perfect fit. Our ceremony was delightfully small, with only the minister, two witnesses and a photographer joining in. On a perfectly warm October 21st, we married in a beautiful meadow under a tree. We had been together for six and a half years, and we realized that a linking of our lives was absolutely a grand idea. We know each other, we play wonderfully together and we fit like a glove. I was ready for this. Samantha was all-in with me too! We love each other; we even like each other. Heck, we've been together longer than many married-and-divo
Farewell 2014, hello 2015
Hello 2015. I'm a couple of days into the new year. Before I dive completely into things, I want to reflect on the saga of 2014 with thanks and gratitude. It's pretty amazing all of the things that happened in the year 2014; the year we finally had the guts to live with my lady love all the way in Dallas/Fort Worth/Euless, TX...Far away from family but close enough to the weather to feel like Tulsa...If I understood what I was doing, would I have gone for it? Of course! I'm doing things I NEVER could have accomplished while in beautiful Tulsa. To begin the year of 2014, Sam and I finished up publishing our first children's book, Ty and Jude's Tulsa Adventure , available on Amazon.com . Sam came up with the clever idea for the story and the brilliant rhyming scheme, while I illustrated, edited and figured out the fine art of digital publishing. Not long after, we hit the ground running and auditioning. I gained a Dallas agent while both of us managed to star
