Twenty years from now we are going to look back and say that, like the mullet of the late 1980s, maybe we in the 201x's were too much into camo. by Derick Snow December 23, 2014 at 09:38PM from Facebook via IFTTT from Facebook

A Supercut Of The 233 Biggest Viral Videos Of 2014

The word of the day is visceral! This supercut is basically one awesome commercial for selfie sticks and GoPro cams, but you will be amazed. I wanna go climb a building and jump into a waterfall. In slow motion. from Facebook http://ift.tt/1BRaBik via IFTTT

PSA: Washing your hands is not splashing your digits under a faucet for one second. Warn water, soap, wash, rinse. It takes just a moment to get rid of germs. Both Sam and I have seen some unsavory hand business today...blergggh by Derick Snow December 17, 2014 at 04:56PM from Facebook via IFTTT from Facebook

When I'm done cleaning this home o' mine, I'll treat myself do the dorkiest of treats: playing the N64 classic, Jet Force Gemni. I never played it back in the day but it's pretty classic awesome Rare magic. It's like the fun of Perfect Dark/GoldenEye and it's sci-fi themes, with the weird Brit-silliness of DK Country and controller-throwing-madness of old-school NES boss battles. I'm pretty sure Sam hates it mostly for the endless bug splattering sounds. Off to clean! by Derick Snow December 14, 2014 at 07:07PM from Facebook via IFTTT from Facebook

Well, I did it. I have Obamacare for 2015. I searched, compared numbers, looked up doctors and plans for a week. Final plan tally: Deductible - 0 Out of Pocket - 500 Generic drugs - 0 Doc visits - 20 Health Screenings and Immunizations - 0 Fancy math and financial help brings my premium for both my wife and I to... Under $60 per month. For two people. That's an amazing price. Three years ago, I went for insurance through my work with my (now wife) as my partner. It was about 200 per paycheck for the jankiest, lowest-tier stuff and about 80 biweekly just for myself and a company clinic. This year both my wife and I transitioned to entirely contract work and I was a bit worried I would get left behind when it came to insurance. Now, I have actual, useful coverage at a price our cost of living can actually afford. The Affordable Healthcare Act might not affect everyone the way it has me, but this has been a very, very positive experience. Nothing sarcastic about this right now... Than

I got a sweet $40 dollar tip from a client I was sleuthing and crime solving for tonight. The Maple Manor in Dallas is a really neat old Victorian manor where I performed, and everyone loved the show. After, I met up with me lovely wife and hung out with some of her great castmates from the Texas Star Theatre up in Grapevine. It was PAINFUL driving to Plano tonight. I drove to pick up a shift for work. The work? I was a manic elf for an Asian Santa. So yes, yes it was worth it. The crowd was AWESOME and Santa was fantastically Asian. by Derick Snow December 08, 2014 at 09:15PM from Facebook via IFTTT from Facebook

It has been a stressful day. My dad went to the hospital with chest pains. It looks like he didn't have a heart attack. He's been released and looks to be resting well. by Derick Snow December 08, 2014 at 09:10PM from Facebook via IFTTT from Facebook

I just sold another of my artwork on Etsy! Thanks to everyone who has been sharing my artwork this last week. These next three weeks will be the best chance to get some lovely little art before Christmas rush slows shipping. Featured today is one of my recent works, "I Dream On". http://ift.tt/1ykSVMk by Derick Snow December 03, 2014 at 10:18AM from Facebook via IFTTT from Facebook

I got to do some more fun cartoon voice work at Funimation today. Maybe someday one of the secretive cartoons will come out so we can all laugh at the silly voices I get to make. by Derick Snow December 01, 2014 at 09:30PM from Facebook via IFTTT from Facebook

It's a small problem, and Lord, thanks for all of the many bookings I'm doing right now for a fair wage...but I have a pang in my stomach when I have to say no to a gig that pays almost five times what I've already agreed to do; but I'm a man of my word. Still, I imagine what that imaginary money could have gotten for just one day's work. I've done it before, and I'll do it again. The big fish will come again. Because karma. Amen. by Derick Snow December 01, 2014 at 03:45PM from Facebook via IFTTT from Facebook
