It's a small problem, and Lord, thanks for all of the many bookings I'm doing right now for a fair wage...but I have a pang in my stomach when I have to say no to a gig that pays almost five times what I've already agreed to do; but I'm a man of my word. Still, I imagine what that imaginary money could have gotten for just one day's work. I've done it before, and I'll do it again. The big fish will come again. Because karma. Amen.
