Period Mystery “Plays” Part in Centennial Celebration By Staff Report Monday, 22 January 2007 Tulsa Spotlight Theatre’s production of “Murder and the Outlaws” – a Mystery Theatre musical production in celebration of the Oklahoma Centennial – will run at 7 p.m. on successive Fridays, Jan. 26 and Feb. 2. Written by Carol Snow, the mystery is set in the time period leading up to statehood. Guests will assume the roles of Oklahoma Territory residents from that era, and will be privy to some exciting events involving Oklahoma outlaws – in this case, singing outlaws. You can bet a murder will take place during the evening, and guests will get to help solve the crime. Guests should plan to come in costumes from the period or in western wear.
